Gallery 360 is proud to present local artist Lindsay Locatelli in an exhibition entitled “Adornments,” which is devoted to the exploration of wearable sculpture. Locatelli, known for her relief-carved wood and polymer jewelry, prepares to take her talents to the wall by adding three-dimensional hanging artworks and tabletop sculptures to her repertoire. Engraving methods on wood allow her to pattern Southwestern-inspired reliefs such as desert cactus flowers, Mesa vistas, and various animal-bone structures into wearable art. This display of contrasting plant life and imagery is an exciting respite from our northern surrounds and sure to inspire a desert adventure.
