Chinese artist Bai Ming is known as a painter, writer, teacher, artist. But he is best known as a boundary-pushing artist who works in the deep Chinese tradition of porcelain. He will be showing porcelain vessels and sculptures with contemporary interpretation of Chinese scenery, imagery and iconography. His large abstract paintings will also be on view/

Ming will hold a workshop at Harvard Ceramic Studios on November 10; opening reception is 3 p.m., November 11.
