The members of the Ceramics Guild of LexArt will be presenting their work in the “Nature of Clay” exhibition. This diverse group of ceramists will be taking their inspiration from forms in the flora and fauna of nature. Pieces displayed will be functional, sculptural and decorative with an emphasis on garden ornamentation. The expressive work of these skilled and talented artists represents many interesting techniques such as raku, wood firing, reduction and oxidation firing, all of which bring out the subtle and the sublime of clay.
